I would also recommend Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury and Animal Farm by George Orwell. I tried to read Brave New World when I found out that Aldous Huxley had been one of Orwell's instructors. I could not get past Chapter 4 and that is nothing on the author or the writing. It is in fact quite the opposite! The writing for the story that Huxley is telling is done so well that I could not feel for the characters and thus could not finish the book. And I think that it might match our current world better than 1984.

Noted. I look forward to exploring the book. I have heard of it and it’s on my list, but did not realize he was Orwells instructor.
