I agree fully that OPs post wasn't well thought out, I'm only speaking to the 'connections,' if you expanded to the other 'Pantheons' you'd see them everywhere. The Baal/El cycle is repeated through many Pantheons, "methodology" wasn't the right word. There were different local 'flavors' of every cult back then, they'd attribute pieces of their local supreme deity with the cult as they swept through. My point is that the same stories are being told across cultures, the "original" theology of all of these Pantheons were created from a pre-bronze age cult. As people moved away from the Homeland cultural stories needed to change to keep the same 'meaning' or overarching themes as something that could still be understood culturally. So the OG Sumerian stories changed in Egypt, those stories webbed out and cross pollinated the stories of the next culture that they interacted with (who also had their own threads of the OG stories) There are no "theologies" that are 'pure,' and the "Baal Hamman" of one era might be more connected to the idea of Zeus in its time, and might resemble Cronus in a different era. The Green Knight is a story that is spread throughout the ancient world the green might be seen as symbolically pure "regrowth" "spring" "renewal" in one tradition, while being seen as "rotting" "ghastly" etc in another culture. Another example "black" and "white" come from the same root for "flash," two different 'understandings' of the same initial event. Smoke/soot (white), smoke/ash (black). The Romans themselves actually made the connection between Baal Hammon and Saturn themselves, I believe Tertullian made that connection also in some of his writings. He claimed that the locals continued their ancient traditions, but under the name of Saturn. If I can remember I'll write it out in a way thats clearer, when I get home.

The nanosattelite detection network... not operational  
The Hycore hypersonic ramjet.... not deployed  
"The worlds best turbofan"...  'maybe' by 2035  
The neutron warhead ICBM interceptor in space... doesn't exist anywhere on the planet in any form.  
  
And this is from someone who constantly whines about the F-35 for being "overpromised" (thats how sales works...) and "underdelievered"... F-35 actually 'exists'... you can go look at one, I used the simulators when I was a kid in 1999.. you're describing a pipeline of 'theoretical' superweapons that will surely work 'exactly' as advertised and will definitely be ready on time and will most assuredly solve a problem that is fundamentally 'mathematical' NOT 'technological'...  
  
Because what you keep ignoring here... is Iran launch 'maybe' 180 'ballistic' missiles at the MOST protected airspace on planet Earth with 'multiple'  allied nations helping to intercept them... and missiles 'still' got through... and ALL were interceptable in 'theory' (that realm you exist in)... Every single one on a ballistic trajectory.  
  
North Korean artillery shells don't... they're smaller faster flatter and there is NO systems on earth designed to intercept them at that scale... NOT ONE... not even on the drawing board... so the "arguement" that ROK's imaginery intercept system will handle the "majority" of incoming fire... is  laughable... its not even part of the equation... those shells are arriving... ROK's ONLY ANSWER IS COUNTER BATTERY.  
  
And counter battery would 'require' the guns to fire first... those crews know that... thats the doctrine... they're expected to fire four or five rounds and die... the rounds are already in the air before counter battery even has the solution dialed in... you DO NOT "intercept" your way out of an opening salvo you just absorb it and respond... and the 'PEOPLE' absorbing it are in Seoul...(not sitting here in America living off of Americas teat) you just scored on yourself there... the West Point article you're using to dismiss the casualty figures is literally arguing for South Korea to take the threat MORE seriously... not less... reading "not 5 million" and stopping there isn't analysis that's cherry picking...  
  
Then there's the KMPR... the idea that you can simultaneously intercept a MILLION rounds of artillery while also managing a Nuclear threat AND executing a perfectly coordinated decapitation strike against the regime that has spent seventy years building out redundant underground bunkers 'specifically' to survive this EXACT scenario... all at the same time... in the opening hours of a conflict... is 'not' a wargame that's a fantasy...  
  
The nanosatellite network that will magically locate every piece the moment they fire... not operational.. the AI system that will make interception nearly "perfect"...not operational... the counter battery system that will destroy virtually all offensive assets... being constantly "improved" which means...... NOT FINISHED  
  
But suuure ROK number one superpower  by 2050... from the country that 'right now' 'today' is in political crisis, has a 'declining' birth rate that is the lowest in the developed world, is functionally dependant upon the US security umbrella, and shares a border with a nuclear armed state that has explicitly stated its intentions to use those weapons... the road to number one superpower runs directly through all of that... (because "it was true in my mind" Hyokkim 2016-2026)   
  
And someone says "I pray to God this remains theoretical" out of genuine 'human' concern for MILLIONS of lives.. someone expresses genuine horror about millions of lives and your response is a lecture about predestination... just sit with what that says about you for a minute...... And then your admission that you didn't always love Koreans until about  ten years ago... that you "did some research and was blown away"... that's not patriotism that's not heritage that's not even genuine cultural connection.. That's someone who found something in their fifties that made his world feel "meaningful" and built an entire Identity around it. FIFTY TWO MILLION 'REAL' PEOPLE live under that threat  every single day...  they're not pieces on a board... they're not proof of a "thesis"... and then theres (you) sitting back sucking from Americas teat making wind about "acceptable casualty" figures... and 'theoretical' 'superweapons' aren't doing it from Seoul..."number one superpower by 2050", you won't even move back.

And thousands of round of cold war era artillery will be able wipe out the ROK "AI revolution" within days... the fact you think "ROK will be a superpower" while its greatest threat is a country with the GDP of Birmingham, Alabama that could wipe out 5 million people in the opening round of a (I pray to God) 'theoretical' conflict... grow the fuck up, you're how old again? You're constantly proclaiming "value" of others, yet you're so full of 'yourself' that you can't do a simple wargame in your head? 10000 artillery firing on average 6 rounds a minute, over a million rounds, thousands of cruise missiles firing simultaneously, and 30-40 nuclear cruise/ballistic missiles during the first hours.... but yeah we should all keep listening to the delusional old man playing Napoleon on the internet... and ROK will have an answer to that (because in the magical make believe world of Hyokkim the ROK will always win because thats his favorite "sportsball team") If you actually 'loved' your people you would stop making these 'grandiose' statements, and try to show people how valuable the Korean people and culture are, instead of constantly trying to prove how "powerful" they are... Its sad how much you see people as dispensable numbers, instead of "your" "countrymen" these are the kinds of games I played as a kid. While still naive enough to not realize that every soldier "I lost" for my offensive was a Son someone with an individual life with hopes and dreams... You at 60+ are so vacuous and empty that you come on a website to pound your chest and incessantly proclaim your greatness, and yet you do it from the safety of America, not in the trenches not even a civilian in harms way. Can "AI" shoot all of this down? X for doubt.

Its not going to be a "tribe" that rules, its going to be a system. And "fighting" and being "oblivious" to it are both going to feed and be a part of it. The only real answer I've been able to come up with is live as though it doesn't exist, don't feed it don't buy in and live as best you can. People don't seem to understand what "the beast" or "the image of the beast" means anymore, to me it means "the system" (a rudderless ship ploughing towards a coast) and "humans within the system" (replaceable soulless components of the ship) This "wave of the future" will pass away too, its all happened before. Socrates took the hemlock rather than stop asking questions, Jesus went to the cross rather than "buy in" to the religious or political machine. Socrates showed people that their "experts" and "leaders" didn't actually know anything, Jesus showed people that the Temple/Empire system was a "whited sepulcher" beautiful on the outside, but full of dead men’s bones.  Both of them revealed the "image" of the beast within the men of their days hearts. The lesson I've taken away from both is I'd rather live by my own convictions for a little while, than exist as a dead man in a dead machine.
