The reason that luxury goods (really, were just talking about tech based goods) are cheap are competition, technology and innovation. These things make products easier and cheaper to produce at scale, forcing the price point down. No such innovation exists in the things nessesery for life, and that I believe is by design by the Kosher banker empire. Any effort to make houses cheaper doesn't translate into cheaper houses, it translates into higher profits. (For example, the cost of building lower rent apartments and "luxury" apartments is almost identical but luxury apartments earn more profits for the share holders. Therefore the only new apartments being made are luxury apartments. Not to mention there's basically a red tape monopoly on most life essentials through the corporate entangled zoning laws.

I think there are people who will default to the narrative of a ecosystem always. On the bright side that means if you build a parallel system that has your belief structure and they enter your ecosystem you won't have to change their minds. They'll just default to your beliefs
