Thank you for posting this! Especially after hearing Mike talk, I’m really freaked out by the gov. I don’t know how to stop them from doing this to me or anyone else. This is tangential but since you know a lot about email and privacy, I’m curious to know if you know anything about[Axon.](https://www.axon.com/)The other day, I received an email from them and their, imo, terrifying company, giving me a code to access my (nonexistent) account and it told me that if I didn’t request a code to simply ignore the email. This struck me as incredibly sus. It bypassed my filters and somehow got into my inbox. I know I can be paranoid but what stops cops from running peoples license plates for personal and unethical reasons and then use this kind of technology to stalk someone?

You're welcome! The laws are so messy and confusing (on purpose) that it's hard to know what applies to you. I am tryin-g to tackle some of these complicated issues and break it down so it's easier to digest. Eek on Axon, they are a one-stop surveillance shop for cops lol
