A Flock camera observes the same things a person can observe from the same place. The better comparison is would you have a problem with a stranger standing in the same location observing as you pass by. That's what it is doing. No different than a cop in the same location with a camera. Even if you do have a problem with it - it's legal, and doesn't violate rights.

Not the same for this reason: A person can access that information for whatever purpose they have at any moment. Now, if the stranger standing in the same location could be found and questioned and expected to provide accurate information simply because someone wanted it, you might have a better point. The problem with FLOCK is that it was apparently designed expressly for the purpose of facilitating abuse. Using FLOCK needs to generate the kind of papertrail and justification narrative of getting a search warrant. And any "mistakes" need to be treated as deliberate abuse.

Exactly. And it's also extremely alarming that the Flock shares a lead investor with Toka, an Israeli company that specializes in altering surveillance footage, even in real time. Flock + Toka = the ability to "revise the truth" and create evidence for or against anyone.
