I think most people with any type of reasoning ability understand private (in their own home) vs Public - where there is no expectation of privacy. The comparison of a camera recording what happens in public versus handing your phone over to a stranger is illogical. Any individual can legally set up cameras and record in public. A group of individuals could do it and share what they record with each other (and the public) if they choose to do so. I don't get the part people think is wrong. The video being analyzed by AI? I don't think there is any law against a group of people recording video in public and analyzing it with AI tools. I don't see what the difference is in Flock or other devices like it.
