He can't be freed from a cage with its door wide open. He can leave anytime he wants but he chooses not to. RFK has said some good things throught the years, but he is not the hero you think him to be. How fast and easy were all his values compromised when they dangled a little bit of money and some secrets in front of him. He now worships the people who killed his uncle and lies/betrays all of the american people.

I'm not suggesting he, or any politician is a hero. But I do want them to do their described job. That doesn't require him to be a hero. In fact, revealing the blackmail would certainly de-hero him in the minds of anyone who did see him as a hero. I'm just asking what's a model for this, because obviously he's not the only politician with this problem (Dan Bongino...ahem....plenty others), and I would like our elected officials to be able to do their job for America and not another country. Isn't that worth it ?

I agree 100% he should tell the truth above everything. But he's not going to. That's my point. He prefers to try and keep up appearances until the very last second. He sold his soul and the people he is supposed to serve for a few bucks and some hidden secrets. Which in my eyes makes him a very bad person. He sold off JFK's legacy, probably to secure his position and stay alive for the moment. Remember how he had multiple attempts to his life? Then suddenly Trump, like the mafia, offered him protection if he allied himself with him and ran as part of the Trump presidential ticket? He did, he sold all his morals off and traded it for safety. He's not gonna change now. He's a coward.
