Not yet. Ive read up to this chapter, I read about the female escorts which was interesting, also about the woman who at the time were in politics doing entry level secretary positions or interns technically who were also I guess commonly were rumored to be hooking up with married men in politics or was given jobs with the sole intention of their employer to basically be their work wife, it seems like many woman at the time were persuaded into affairs or sex in exchange for positions in government and in hopes to work their way up the ranks, which sounds much like the same way Hollywood was hiring woman arohnd the same time era (and even in modern times) if the woman felt the job was going to catapult their careers in a meaningful way, they were willing to basically be theses politicians mistress. That was interesting, but no, I'm gonna actually pick up the book today and continue reading from where I left off, cos I really hadn't read anymore of it since the day I made this post, but seeing it's a rainy shit weather day, it's a good day to stay inside and just read and now you have me intrigued with this pedo chapter, which doesn't surprise me, but what does surprise me is that it was somewhat of an open secret apparently, even then, in the 50s, yet it's still such a massive problem in Washington? How could it be still occuring on such a disgusting scale after all this time has passed and apparently it was not uncommon even then. So I gotta read that. Thanks for the motivation to get back to this interesting gem of insider political corruption and Washington evil
