If we want to keep trading with china yeah and the american market is too lucrative to be ignored by china. So despite tensions we still maintain trade. A war in the pacific will change that. Remember the trump administration wants to restore the perception of american strength but they will overplay their hand and our country will pay a costly price. One that isn't just measured in monetary value but devastating loss in livelihoods. The arrogance of the roman empire before its fall is a cautionary tale and we're following in their footsteps.
