As a child, I was electrocuted all the time, maybe that is what is wrong with me. My father did reconstruction, so he had me doing all the "junk" jobs but growing up and learning about that business, all the jobs are junk. I remember getting shocked a bunch as a child and now I have a tendency to shy away from electrical issues. I can understand it and grasp the concept of turning the power off, but it always makes me nervous. I can grasp circuits and what not, its just not my cup of tea. You have more resolve than I do. I for sure wouldn't have fucked with this. Or, I'm a good hander of the tools you need. Top tier helper...

It's not really complicated. Just unusual. Makes perfect sense when you understand how it works. But, it does complicate matters because both branches are able to affect each other... sometimes. The fix is to tie both branches together the way it was supposed to be done when it was new... but apparently wasn't. It's not hard. It's not really special. It's just unusual.
