According to the Lord, this will happen and cannot be stopped, so unfortunately yes. The human side of me keeps screaming out saying "stop it, we gotta stop it" but the holy side of me that worships God/Jesus knows that we can't. We just have to wait for him to come back and deliver us from evil. Then we have a new kingdom to look forward to under Jesus' rule that should last thousands of years. Peaceful and prosper for all his righteous servants.
