I thought his business acumen could translate well to good governance which it did to a certain extent. I first liked trump when he called out unneccessary wars and loss of lives in the middle east. I never liked the idea of paying taxes to kill people abroad just to keep us safe. These are people who simply defended their homeland. Doesn't sit well with me as a christian having my hands bloodied but that was the narrative we've been fed and all it did was made us unsafe and even more brainwashed.   
  
Trump promised peace and he not only lied to us but sold us out. Made us look like israel's mistress. He reminds me of churchill before WWII broke out. He likes to talk about holding cards as if he's some master poker player calling iran's bluff without realizing the middle east is a powderkeg that will blow oil prices sky high and plunge the world into global inflation the likes of which you've never seen before. Not to mention that the conflict will inevitably involve russia and china. Cascading effects that will reach a tipping point of no return. That's rich coming from a warner of WWIII.  
   
Trump isn't doing this country any favors imposing sanctions and tariffs willy nilly. It only serves to make the world hate us even further especially in the face of dedollarization. Guess what will countries do when they get fed up of paying in dollars while being mistreated. Notice the current administration is scrambling to secure rare earth minerals abroad to cushion the hard fall when it happens. We won't benefit from that though.   
  
People haven't come to the realization that hatred, division and false narratives have been planned all along to herd us like cattle as you rightly point out. A lawless nation doesn't abide by the constitution. There was a time when defenders of the constitution rang true. If we truly honored the constitution we wouldn't be violating the unalienable right to freedom, we wouldn't invade Hawaii and not bomb countries when they exercise their right to self determination. Doesn't matter how promising any future president will be either. The senate and congress is like a theatre filled with whores. Their oaths are sworn to the prostitution of the US not the constitution.
