I've had this issue before. I've also seen it cut off my posts abruptly. Where the post looks fine in the preview, hit post and 50% of the post and images will be missing. There is some ghost in the code when you start using too many symbols or specialized formatting that seems to cause issues when combined with images. The limit is 10 images for a post 3 for a comment so that shouldn't be the issue.

You mention symbols? Likee emojis? because I was using quite a few in this particular post which is out of character for me but I did do more emojis then I'm comfortable with admitting. Lol, I will repost minus the emojis since you often are pretty logical and correct in your replies and i can't help but pay attention when you make observations or offer a viewpoint

Could be emojis, I was mostly referring to symbol characters like ()\*&^~-\_- I have a theory that something in the RTF(WYSIWYG) editor get's triggered into markdown mode at times and it incorrectly formats everything below it when an error occurs. Nothing certain though, but it does seem to happen here and there. It's one of the reasons I don't post 4000+ character 7+ image posts very often anymore, as they seem to encounter problems.
