It's a good idea... it works similar to that on x doesn't it? Although editing to reduce isn't a thing if I recall, which would actually make it a better feature.

Yeah other forum style sites have a similar feature, you can quote someones post, but then usually you can edit it, and sometimes you could make it look like they said something they didn't say. Which It why I went into more detail to prevent that. Either just quote the whole post which would be ok, but quoting a specific part of the other users post would be best imo.
