right they recently added blocks, edits, and deletes. But that doesn't help new users, who see the hate spam when they open the website.

I understand better now, and yes, for a new person, I see the exact problem. A fun challenge to think about a solution for but I haven't got the head space now for it. 🙂

I am an advocate of being able to edit posts for a few minutes after posting (because I make grammar mistakes, or sometimes want to make what I said more understandable), but also against seeing people banned unless purposely disruptive. No one should be banned for what they say. \*edit button let me include a second parenthesis I forgot
