You confuse the biological mechanism of human reproduction with the metaphysical foundation required for logic, truth, and critical thought to exist in the first place. "From what I see of the world, humans have sex and have babies, no god is needed." This is a category error. Orthodoxy has never denied the physical, biological mechanics of human reproduction. However, biology explains how a human body is formed; it cannot explain why that body possesses a rational mind capable of accessing immaterial, universal truths. The fact that a child grows up and can understand laws of logic, mathematics, or morality cannot be explained by cell division alone. A material process can only produce material things. The mind’s ability to grasp unchanging truth requires that reality itself has a rational, divine foundation—the Logos (Christ). Biology is simply the mechanism through which God brings new icons of Himself into existence. "Are all humans the same? With the same abilities to think critically? ... Are all human 'minds' the same?" No, human capacities, intellects, and neurological functions vary wildly. But TAG does not claim that every human has the exact same cognitive output. It claims that the standards of truth and logic themselves are absolute. Even if a human lacks the capacity to think critically due to illness, age, or developmental limits, the laws of logic they fail to utilize still exist. The standard of rationality remains unchanged. In Orthodox anthropology, every human is made in the Image of God (possessing the inherent blueprint of rationality and freewill), even if our fallen world distorts our ability to fully realize that Likeness in practice. "Some humans think because they can 'think' that must mean all humans can 'think' also. This isn't the case, look at me, I'm a human pretending to be a cow." You unwittingly prove the very point you are trying to mock. To "pretend" requires an intentional, highly complex, and rational mind. A real cow cannot pretend to be a human, nor can a random collection of rocks pretend to be anything else. The capacity for irony, satire, and self-reflection requires a level of consciousness that transcends mere matter in motion. By formulating a rational, written argument to deny absolute truth, you are actively utilizing the absolute laws of logic and language provided by the Logos to do so. "People can't even agree on this Jesus character but we are supposed to believe everything else god does is absolute..." you mistake epistemology (how we come to know or agree on things) with ontology (what actually exists). Human disagreement about Jesus does not alter who He is. If human consensus determined truth, then the earth would have been flat when humanity believed it was flat. Disagreement about God does not disprove God; rather, the very ability to hold a meaningful debate about Jesus assumes that Truth exists as an objective reality to be discovered. If there is no absolute God, then your own skeptical opinion is just a meaningless chemical reaction, no more "right" or "wrong" than the faith of the believer. And that would make science, discussions and any opinion you have invalid.

Your premise is that if your god isn't real then nothing matters? Please explain when your god's son Jesus went to die for the Japanese?

"Truth" is something perceived by different humans. One persons terrorist is another persons freedom fighter. What you think as the truth is another persons lie. You believe a religion, others don't believe your religion. You haven't proven your god has put the foundation down for logic, truth and critical thought. You assume these "ideas" are out there and people experience those things the same way. You say the body possesses a rational mind. Please prove that all humans possess this thing. If some humans can't use logic or possess this brain how can you say your god gives all humans these abilities? Are these down syndrome humans? Humans with low IQ's? Please show me these things in real life.
