My experiences with large amounts of homeless has indicated to me that homeless women are 100% heavy drug users. I don't think they are subsidized to a different degree, but who knows. The reality is, for homeless women in my state at least, there is a much wider network of resources than for men. So they paradoxically make up less of the population and receive more support. That may be the mechanism by which they are 'subsidized' to a deeper degree. I actually saw surprisingly attractive homeless women on a recurring basis. However, the real attractive ones operate as some weird anti-pimp that runs a gang of 15 horny homeless dudes. Weirdest shit I've ever seen.

Mental issues abound without illicit drug use... the pharmaceuticals will do now. I remember seeing a funny skit from Brazil where there was a sexy model who was made to look slightly unkempt, pretending to be homeless, and all the men were staring, wanting to adopt her:)

One time, outside of a shop I was working at in Eugene - this cute girl about my age came and sat down next to me to ask for a smoke. I obliged and we chatted. Our conversation was insignificant because she was actually just wanting an audience member to her puppet string abilities. Immediately across the road from us was a Jack In The Box fast food. It was then that I noticed that she had apparently directed a gang of five hobos to steal both of the cash registers. Cops came, she left - walking away like a villain, hobos got arrested. She did it for the love of the game I guess.

Interesting story, but from what I understand, she put a roof over the heads of five hobos. Bless that sweet angel:) "Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it." \- I didn't know angels smoke but now we know:)
