So obese people get locked up, but weed, alcohol and premarital sex get a pass? Bold health policy. What’s the actual rule here, only the stuff you don’t do?:) On a saner note, if the government stopped subsidizing poor choices, we could focus on valuing freedom instead of caging people for health outcomes. Right now, health insurance companies and the medical field make steady, if unreasonable, profits with the help of government policies and laws. There’s also a plausible case that it can cost the government less overall if people die before the most expensive years of treating chronic conditions and collecting long-term benefits. I suppose it just depends on whether the prison-industrial complex can secure more political power than big pharma. Feast your lustful eyes but don't fall in love, there is only one of me:)

Having sex before marriage should land you in jail? The government is arresting people for putting chemicals in their bodies today, not because of premarital sex, ya religious zealot. Obesity costs people money, making a choice to be fat. Unwanted babies costs taxpayers money also. But arresting people for having babies is interesting.

If I told you I never kissed my wife until after marriage, would you believe me?:) And if I can prove it, you’re not allowed to pay for online comics ever:) I only brought up premarital sex because you brought it up as your grievance against the Biblical God. Trusting the government with more laws and good intentions doesn’t speak well of your understanding of history or pattern recognition:) To bring about more honest reality and personal agency, all the government has to do is remove itself from influencing the free market, printing fiat currency, and personal taxation.
