I was looking for a water splashing during a earthquake gif but this is at least a shout out to liveleak.  I wonder what the oceans would do if the moon wasn't around...

If the moon wasn't around, I think the conjecture is that we would no longer have waves, obviously, but then the wind would only be influenced by the sun going up and down. Idk, it would be funky. Valleys would become air stagnation death zones. Walk in to one and you can't breathe. Who knows.
