It relates to increasing the conductivity of your soil to improve substrate ecosystem health. I’ve been on a long horn / highland cattle kick lately.

i c i c, got it IRT electroculture, I actually came across it years ago offline. I think there was a journal article circa 2011-5 that had some notoriety, but the yields weren't anything more spectacular than EM bokashi (effective microorganisms) if I recall correctly. In my general gardening I just stick to making as much activated charcoal as possible since wood and organic waste is so abundant in America, I just toss it into compost. On electroculture, I think anything that generally encourages people to grow, is good. Also, for me the greatest benefit seems like a method of placing grounding rods away from any structures and decreasing lighting risk overall.

Why not do it all? I'm into all of it, whatever brings us to food independence is a win for humanity!

certainly wouldn't discourage it for anyone that's able - just that jumping into any one thing can get time consuming, I'm personally presently still working out the composting/biochar/gardeing/small livestock bit - would love to explore other options as time allows;
