First, we actually have to believe there is a God (Most High) and Satan/Devil (who wants to make himself like the Most High). Discover or Use our truth inclination, propensity etc. What do we sincerely want, seek etc.? Are we on finding truth willing to change for the better? Truth is something we should surrender to. For those seeking, it is a journey of commitment, and the truth has a chronology, trace it back to the first/source/origin (sadly, impatient people have a tendency to stop conveniently where they prefer, not where they are led). For truth is the root of all things. The journey over time brings us to recognizable patterns. Patience is a virtue. We are encompassed within the truth of our Creator (He can see us, hear us etc.). Some truth is instinct (if our moral compass is not damaged) e.g. not lie, not murder, not steal, not ungrateful etc. However, when we are confused call upon our Creator (Most Gracious, Most Merciful etc.). #Bible Psalm 145:18 The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. #Quran chp 26 ver 221-223 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? They descend upon every guilty fabricator. They pretend to listen, but most of them are liars. chp 31 ver 21 When they are told, "Follow these revelations of God," they say, "No, we follow only what we found our parents doing." What if the devil is leading them to the agony of Hell? chp 23 ver 97-98 Say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the whispers of the devils. "And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they come near me."

I used God and Satan because of the quotes you provided but it could also be truth vs lie. Have you been born in Muslim culture? At this point in time and the world one can be born into anything and everything, religion denominations, cultures, ethnic groups and the modernity. There is a lot of influences to dodge or avoid just to be your own person. Is it easy to decipher lie from truth for people that are already flawed? Biblically, the wisest man turned away from God and Moses and David had their failings and punishments. At certain point close to all in Israel were worshiping Baal. How do you see the Bible and Quran being spiritually compatible? From Muslim point of view, do you reject some books of the OT and NT?

How do you see the Bible and Quran being spiritually compatible? From Muslim point of view, do you reject some books of the OT and NT? My ancestors were Muslims (willingly in submission to God's will) like Abraham before they became Muslims like Muhammad. This is why I read the Bible in light of the Quran. I reject themes that do not flow between them. Some themes flow between them, and some don't, those themes that do not flow or aren't confirmed by the Quran, I do not prioritize. It seems that some things are lost in translation (from Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, Latin), and others purposely distorted. Note that a people who killed their prophets have committed permanent censorship, they will have no qualms with distorting their information/message. #Bible Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Nehemiah 9:26 “But they were disobedient and rebelled against you; they turned their backs on your law. They killed your prophets, who had warned them in order to turn them back to you; they committed awful blasphemies. Luke 11:48-49 So you testify that you approve of what your ancestors did; they killed the prophets, and you build their tombs. Because of this, God in his wisdom said, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill and others they will persecute.’ #Quran chp 2 ver 91 When they are told, "You shall believe in these revelations of GOD," they say, "We believe only in what was sent down to us." Thus, they disbelieve in subsequent revelations, even if it is the truth from their Lord, and even though it confirms what they have! Say, "Why then did you kill GOD's prophets, if you were believers?" chp 3 ver 3-4 He sent down to you this scripture (Quran), truthfully, confirming all previous scriptures, and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel before that, to guide the people, and He sent down the statute book. Those who disbelieve in GOD's revelations incur severe retribution. GOD is Almighty, Avenger. chp 4 ver 136 O you who believe, you shall believe in GOD and His messenger, and the scripture He has revealed through His messenger, and the scripture He has revealed before that. Anyone who refuses to believe in GOD, and His angels, and His scriptures, and His messengers, and the Last Day, has indeed strayed far astray.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I don't think picking what flows between the Bible and the Quran and rejecting the rest, is how it supposed to work:) If you get a chance, what is rejected between the books?

Do you think the New Testament aligns with all the themes of the Old Testament, Christians reject on exactly the same basis, or why do many of them not see Jesus as a prophet (noting how the Old testament is all about prophets of God)? Pattern recognition: Covenant and commandments of God. Satan/Devil as enemy. Prophets of God. Some prophets performed miracles (e.g. Moses before Jesus). Worship in temples of God etc. Abraham https://www.masjidtucson.org/quran/appendices/appendix9.html Jesus https://www.masjidtucson.org/quran/appendices/appendix22.html

I share your concerns of most of the "christian" denominations. Take a look at Paul's letter to Hebrews where he explains Jesus to them

Pattern recognition exposes how Apostle Paul did not fully connect all the dots: Elohim (God) is Creator of all that exists. Bringing everything into existence with His words. An everlasting promissory covenant with His creation. However, not all creation will hear and obey (e.g. Satan/Devil etc.). Adam only had a Creator, not a father or mother. Jesus was begotten from Mary, his Mother. The best amongst us human beings walked faithfully with God. Prophets as good examples to follow (speaking in the language of their people e.g. Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabic etc.). Calling upon God for help, guidance etc. Faith aligning Deeds (or the lack thereof) and Death will lead us to be close to His light or distant in fire. Everything is 'from' God, and therefore, everything is 'for' Him.

I don't think it is an honest effort to pick and choose what of the Bible to accept or deny. From your post that is not what I would relate after reading Paul explaining Jesus to Hebrews. In "Christian" denominations the rifts come from different interpretations, making things up and creating things out "human reasoning". The Roman Catholic church being the largest Christian denomination doesn't really have much to do with the biblical teachings. Similarly, Jews might hold up the Torah but the Talmud is Rabbis arguing how to circumvent God's word.

Is it honest to make references to God in other than His words? The Torah alone, was not enough, they chose Talmud (Mishnah, Gemara). The Gospel alone, was not enough, they chose Trinity and idolization of Jesus. The Quran alone, was not enough , they chose Hadith, Sunna and idolization of Muhammad.

Isn't that at least a fair chance to reject the false teachings and maybe the leadership that brought it about?

If I am to speak of Christian religions/faiths, denominations/churches, they often will invent doctrine and or omit biblical teachings. Talmud is Rabbis circumvention of Torah that is repulsive. I don't follow anything of Quran to have an opinion. If these made up teachings are clearly false and do not align, it gives an interested individual an obvious and easy way out of false religions/denominations. It is a blessing.

Only Biblical, meaning anyone should be able to arrive at it just by reading the Bible in proper context unlike man invented doctrines. It should not be complicated but simplified and applied in life

Apostle Paul was a Statist-Polytheist, not a Monotheist. Aren't we supposed to submit to One Creator God? Doesn't He ultimately control all things, and all our affairs? Hebrews 13:16-18 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you. Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way.

I don't see Apostle Paul as being a statist. I think Biblical Christianity is supposed to separate itself from the "world" and it is not supposed give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's. There is not political aspirations within Christianity. Explain where do you get the idea of Paul being Polytheist?

The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert from the way of Jehovah, seeking to make it deviant. Those are in extreme error.
