That has tranformed into the whole system. Now the upper 10% of the population live extravagantly off of the work of other 90%. Their only job being how to further and prolong the manipulation without being caught, or gaining such a powerful control as to not care about being caught. The ancients were smart enough to see this far into the future based on their current situations and the variations they experienced of the same thing. Todays people are not smart enough to see it in front of their very faces. They are lazy and pacified to the point they do not care even when the truth is forced upon them.
