Thank you—I really appreciated your message.

And I appreciate the encouragement about the videos more than you know. I’ve recently been working on a series based on Seeing Like a State. It’s such a rich book that I sometimes feel I’m not doing it justice, especially because some of the most interesting parts don’t always translate into entertaining video form. Still, I started making videos for a simple reason: I read a lot, and I wanted to remember what I read more deeply by trying to explain it.

I took a break from the platform myself for a while too—life has a way of doing that.

And yes—run. Spring is a good answer to many things. I used to love sprinting, though after an accident and a hip replacement I had to leave running behind. These days I stay active in other ways. My favorite is kayaking—peaceful, steady, a good antidote to too much time in the head.

I smiled at your line about having legs, will run. That’s a healthy philosophy.

Whatever you decide about staying or going, I’m glad you stopped by. And I appreciate the kind words.
