Corrected! legendarymcmyth: I think addiction is a sign of some kind of personal weakness involving self-indulgence where people don't want to face reality. Drug/alcohol abuse is so much worse when you have children though, which many of the Manson family girls had (Charles Manson had a child with one of those girls, at least one). I feel bad for those kids and wonder what happened to them. They probably ended up in state institutions. The best thing that could have happened to them is being adopted by a good family. I found myself addicted to the deception, tricks, lies of Satan (the life of this world). Until, all thanks to God, I found out that God is Truth, and everything is by His commands and permission (even Satan asked for God's permission to invite us to illusions). Truth is Therapy (My Confession) https://soj.ooo/p/onecreatorgod/post/3d2d1ac302cd425ee5e906f64856c1ee #Quran chp 17 ver 64 "You (Satan) may entice them with your voice, and mobilize all your forces and all your men against them, and share in their money and children, and promise them. Anything the devil promises is no more than an illusion. chp 31 ver 33 O people, you shall reverence your Lord, and fear a day when a father cannot help his own child, nor a child can help his father. Certainly, GOD's promise is truth. Therefore, do not be distracted by this life; do not be distracted from GOD by mere illusions. chp 4 ver 120 He promises them and entices them; what the devil promises is no more than an illusion.

True, we all have our own addictions. Now that you mention other addictions outside the usual, I would say my biggest addiction is sleep. I really hate waking up sometimes and just want to indulge in oblivion / dreamland. It really is only by the grace of God that I am not addicted to more things. I feel like I was addicted to more things earlier in life, but as I made certain decisions in life that would seem to restrict freedom, like marriage and having children - I became free from those addictions. For example, I use to define my self worth by the women I dated and often wasn't content in relationships. It was nothing less than an addiction, not so much to sex, but to being the guy with the girls. That was something that was really hard to overcome, which threatened my marriage at one point. A you are revert as well? Or were you born to the religion? I'll check out you YT video.

legendarymcmyth: A you are revert as well? Or were you born to the religion? My ancestors were Muslims like Abraham before they became Muslims like Muhammad. I was born into an extended family with people claiming to be Muslims and Christians. And I have lived around those claiming to be Jews. Like many who reflect, one does not inherit faith in God. If God wills, I walk faithfully with Him. The Chronology of Truth https://soj.ooo/p/onecreatorgod/post/515bcc07c47578d4fb5cf98ba725d3d5
