Interesting! Reminds me of the way old timers using water divines to locate wells underneath the ground. There is something to the magnetism aspect of it imo. I've heard we even have a little bit extra iron deposits in our nasal area that acts as a compass in a way to help us get our bearings. Might explain why we're horrible at asking for directions when we prefer to just follow our nose lol. The Amish do have their mysterious ways. Probably takes a lot of practices too.

I agree, I do think there is something to this. One day I'd like to do a deep dive into it. I've also heard of people using a dowsing stick for this, but I've never actually met anyone who has done it.
