Great ideas, we used slabs on the worse parts of a muddy trails, keeps you from getting stuck and it works! Having a local mill connection is very handy. Mulch, saw dust, slabs of wood etc, they love it when you want to take some of it away.... our local mill just closed down early this year, so now I'm going to have to find a new guy, but the Amish if they were closer to me would be great!
