Duck eggs are really good, they taste "lighter". Bakers really like them. The meat tastes good, but I really prefer them for layers. They are a lot more messy than chickens. They need water to help them digest food, and of course they splash water everywhere. They also need water to clean, whereas chickens just take dust baths. They can be a bit more difficult to keep than chickens, especially during winter.
