ROK is at least 20 years ahead (15 years ahead in steel production technology) of U.S. in shipbuilding; USN can no longer remain a blue water navy without the logistical support from ROK, without squeezing U.S. taxpayers further still. This will give ROK political leverage to veto U.S. foreign policies when it's not in ROK's OTNI, such as Israel/Palestine issue. ROK is going to be far more important and far more popular across most U.S. political spectrum sans the Zionist flunkies. Some people, such as @q2025 think a country must oppose U.S. in 'moral' dimension; that is a very unrealistic, and immature thinking. A country must put its OTNI foremost, remaining agonistic (not neutral) regarding other nations, no matter 'moral' dilemma. Is there a country out there that is morally flawless? He can't even tell me which 'Muslim' nations are true Muslim nations!
