Thanks for helping me get informed about the latest tactical communication. I had been looking for vacuum tube based communication receivers for dxing, after the implosion, but was deficient about the tactical radio communication aspect. I have an idea; what about building portable cellphone 'tower' that can move with tactical unit that can take advantage of this device so that the units can communicate locally/tactically with each other during tactical operation, which become operational/strategic when scaled up?
