Parent Post: Can anyone recommend a reasonable monitor reviewer on Youtube? I feel like I'm going crazy.

I do monitor reviews on my site.....though I always let people know that when I do reviews, I do them as I use them. I don't get into the technicals and pixel peeping, nor do I benchmark very commonly. I use the monitors and report back how the experience was for me. That said. I currently have the Alienware AW2725Q in my review queue as well as a few Samsung monitors that I can't talk about right now because they are under embargo. I try and cater to the normal guy who knows enough about tech but isn't obsessed over some of the technical details. Anyway, hope that helps.

That's awesome. My other big gripe is when I'm reading or watching a review and 10 minutes into the video I realize.... oh my God he's just giving me stats from Rtings. He's never actually seen these monitors in real life. I won't pepper you with questions but I must know what your opinion is on used. I trust my own judgement and ability to not buy something that's potentially fucked up but is buying something new with a warranty the only way to go? I'm building a new setup from the scratch and I haven't thought about monitors since 2020. Anyway, checking out your site right now.
