its still surveillable because google is owned by alphabet whose shareholders are mostly shell companies started by the cia....theres a reason the mobile baseband processor market is proprietary and no one is making them and arent opensource... the backdoor is in every baseband processor of every mobile device whatsoever and cannot be bypassed. they can listen to you even with the device powered off. you wouldnt even be aware since the baseband processor can be powered and make transmissions using only the capacitors in a handset. is why they made it so you cant remove the battery these days also aside from the need to replace the device once battery shits the bed. this is why the quantum user experience is releasing in house component-made handsets and service in which they will have the first 100% degoogled OS that was stripped of all google atributes capable of outside manipulation and redesigned from the kernel up by one of the people who designed the Android OS in the first place. they employed some of the top minds to design the only way to encrypt data that doesnt use any method or basis that the current encryption methods are based and involve time as part of the process and cannot be broken by any means including AI, and making it future-proof aside from maybe a really smart remote viewer, which tech wouldnt be a barrier in that case anyway. For more info, see the comment i made on this post to the OP.

Interesting, I’ll look into it I’ve been looking for a simple phone, even the “dumb phones” seem to be utilizing android now a days. I tried to use my Nokia e51 but the networks here don’t support it because it’s 3g, I think 5g isn’t any better than 4g and is only symmetrical so up/down so they can spy and steal your data.
