Allah is the Arabic term for God, representing the singular, deity in Islam, and is "considered" the same God worshipped in Judaism and Christianity. However, there are major differences. There are common misconceptions about Allah, particularly among non-Muslims, who may mistakenly view Allah as a different deity or an idol. However, Muslims assert that Allah is the same God worshipped by Jews and Christians, albeit with different understandings and teachings. The concept of Tawhid, or the oneness of God, is central to Islamic theology, reinforcing the belief that there is no deity worthy of worship and they do not believe in idolatry.
