Calling the Gaza genocide allegation **“absurd”** is absurd.

You can argue genocide has not been legally proved. The ICJ has not issued a final merits judgment. Fine.

But Amnesty International, B’Tselem and a UN Commission of Inquiry have all concluded that genocide occurred or is occurring.

That is not fringe. It is a serious legal and factual dispute.

And **“If Israel wanted genocide, it could have killed far more people”** is especially weak.

At Auschwitz, the Nazis did not kill every prisoner immediately. Many Jews were temporarily kept alive for forced labor. Nobody thinks unused killing capacity disproves the Holocaust.

That does **not** mean Gaza is Auschwitz. It means the argument itself is garbage.

Genocide does not require killing everyone you possibly can, as fast as you possibly can.

So yes, jokingly call them **genocide deniers** if they insist there is not even a serious case to examine.

And even if a court ultimately says **“not genocide,”** you are still left with allegations of mass killing, starvation, persecution, forced displacement, war crimes and crimes against humanity.

That is not vindication.

It is just a different indictment.
