In my humblest of opinions buying silver is speculation on a commodity. Silver isn't a monetary metal. I've seen quite a few pods with the most knowledgable people in the business talking about this down turn and how the big banks were short and those crooks grrr. Then they go on talking about how silver is needed in so many things and you have to have diamond hands. I see their points the the gld to slv ratio and all but it's hard for me to compare it to gold. I know I know they explain how gold is down now too.
