The housing market is very much a bubble, like college eduation. True inflation is hidden from the majority by being stuffed into these boxes. Those things are at least 5X their true value. Those are smaller bubbles inside the bigger bubble which also continues to stretch. This masks it all from a de-educated population in a sense. But the ever building pressure of reality will have to break through eventually. The infinite fiat money system has been extended thus far and may be for years longer, even transferred into different units or a different system entirely, but the physics of the matter is real. It will burst somehow someway.
