We all have the same hope. Well, most of us do, anyway. Bluffs are being called and bets are being laid in what looks to me like the highest stakes game in history. China will collapse, or prosper. No middle ground. My money's on their collapse being underway. And I think Russia's going down as well. Hopefully the EU with them. Once China falls, NK will invade SK, Japan will probably sink the Chinese fleet, the US will consolidate power in the Americas and purge the Canadian government to the nervous applause of Canadians everywhere. I have argued against this point, I believe quite reasonably in the near past. This is WW3. Wars are not fought over pride and insults as so many people seem to imagine. They are fought over resources. But, I'm pessimistic tonight. Perhaps tomorrow I'll see the coming Golden Age.
