My problem with team USA twofold. Number one they are profit-sharing with the women’s team so if they win, the women’s team gets part of their earnings, which I think is total horse dung. My second and even bigger problem is the lack of participation in singing the national anthem. I know that sounds like a petty and small thing, but I watch every other team from every Podunk small country sing their own anthem happily, loud and proud Half the guys on the USA team kept their mouth shut, including the Coach. The US government may be full of criminals who run a Ponzi scheme, but ordinary Americans, IMHO, deserve to be celebrated and respected. Particularly the ones that came before us who forged the path that led to our own opportunities. So sing the fucking anthem! You’re in America over Fourth of July weekend on its 250th birthday. The World Cup is being played in your own country.
