*The key issue is not servers, nodes, or protocols as these can move and/or change. The issue is that whoever owns the platform has final authority.* My apologies.... I am not in the know on this subject at all. Let's say this site because explosive popular.....what is the protocol to protect the site from a wealthy billionaire from buying it....and burying it? If you could explain this like I was truly interested....just a little dim on this side of illuminaton.🤣 Appreciate your feedback. Peace.

I have a similar concern that I had just voiced on a different post, as i can see a rich enough entity that is determined to take down the site at all costs using their money to buy the allegiance and DAOs from the founders as well as users with finacial difficulties being persuaded to trade their ownership for a finacial payout that seems appealing to someone in a finacially precarious position

Which kind of democracy, the one where 51% get to impose their values/ideas/agenda on the 49%?

Yes. Social spaces require a form of governance, unlike personal spaces wherein we can inherit much more freedoms.

Thanks for the hard work. It is appreciated by many!! I needed a place to vent my frustration and to share with somewhat like minded people, non brain dead people. And I found it. Thanks to you, Matt and Peter.

Bless you for providing the world with something we need now more than ever. This place resonates with energy of a community I knew long ago, where people felt like they could say what needs to be said without having to deal with the mainstream agenda. Voices that want to unite and be heard in constructive ways to build a better tomorrow is what I will always stand for. Regardless of whatever bad eggs (which will always be around) are here, the message is loud and clear: We will not be assimilated into their chaos. Onward! ♥️
