"Say I post on Friday and the next week period starts Saturday, but I get 50 bumps on Friday and 50 bumps on Saturday, but I got less bumps on Saturday(the start of the new scoring system) so I lose rank to a post that gets 75 bumps on Saturday, even though in the relative timeline Post 1 got 100 bumps vs 75." Great point, it may not happen often, but certainly something that could happen, I reckon a definitive line in the sand is required, so ultimately I guess whenever the cut off is, it just simply has to be a hard line otherwise how far would you take it?

Thats why I think monthly is a better cut off than weekly, as if its weekly is becomes a certain day of the week every time. Monthly it is harder to game the system.
