Nope. I arrived just in time to see the remnants. I have a rough understanding of the old architecture and communities. I'd say that I began to heavily use the internet at age 10, so 2005ish. I had a somethingawful subscription and everything. I largely missed out on bbs shitposting and forums were sort of beginning to wane. I wasn't cognizant enough at the time of the dot.com bubble to understand it. I feel similar about HAM radio. It's largely dead or dying and filled with gatekeeping boomers. I also do not approve of the FCC being allowed to come into my home at any time without a warrant because I was silly enough to get my ham license. Dumb boomers.
