Amir here and I have a big issue with the “leadership” here in The Netherlands.  
  
I’ll start a rant here but do bare with me and do tell me if you agree or disagree with my viewpoint on the matter.  
  
Leaders in this country where I live I feel like are so out of touch with the common folk, the people.  
They talk with expensive words and are always busy in their high towers debating or whatever.  
  
Pencil pushers creating laws and passing them while most people don’t even know or care about.  
  
They never visit towns or cities which is not hard to do since this country is so small unless they want to win votes which is scummy to me and not how a leader chosen by people should act.  
  
I miss a leader who is willing to be more around the people and less locked away in his or her high tower in The Hague/Den Haag.  
  
One that travels up and down the country constantly. Speaks to the people constantly.  
I don’t want a minister of defense anywhere near to safety so long there are soldiers abroad. A true leader for that part should in my eyes be in the field with the army, navy airforce military police ect.  
  
I don’t understand how so many people are alright with this.  
If I was a leader chosen by the people I’d only be out in the field, if I was a secretary of defense I’d want to be in the field bleeding beside those soldiers.  
I can’t wrap my mind around this and this just straight up angers me.  
If it were me and I had to send soldiers somewhere knowing they have a chance of losing their life because I told them to go there I’d go with them. Screw protocol, who am I to send someone somewhere to die far away or near without me being there.  
  
Than there is the issue of us sending millions of euros abroad but ohno we can’t use that money to build more houses or roads. I can go on but I’m on my nightshift here and need to continue. I’ll make sure to post more if this gains some traction with replies and bumps, bless you all saars!
