There are many stories of the cohesion used to make people join a cause. Like the DEA, sounds great- taking drugs off the street and a few top level gang bangers… only to realize that some of them have murdered some had guns when you arrested them but MOST…. Most are being held for non-violent crimes… some like a man in Louisiana is being held for life after his 3rd Strike violation was over some weed and a couple joints in his pocket… Life. For a few joints… ok yea he robbed or whatever his first 2 strikes but the 3rd… thre was only one victim, him. Many more just like him. So yea, I understand. I was offered jobs by the Secrete Service and by Homeland Security. Many many times. I was so close to doing it. So close I called out and never showed up on the morning of testing. All coming after a time of cocaine addiction and a small stint in jail. Nothing major, Point and Present of a Firearm, charges dropped. Put into drug courses. Covid hit. Was removed and then a few years later the USSS and DHS started reaching out..It was extremely weird timing. welcome. These things we cannot share with the outside world. They don’t understand. Shit maybe no one will understand what I had happen. That’s ok.
