I wouldn't doubt that; I'll take your word for it.   Why I once seriously considered TX as the state to move to for the big day.   I thought TX could be the king of all the states of former U.S., a super state.    It's got the oil in plenty, cattle, agriculture, more or less temperate weather, all the tech giants, especially in the military/aerospace sector, big population base, plenty of armed men, who know how to use them, many of them with military background, most definitely, not 'All hat, no cattle'.      
  
Problem is that TX has become politically far less cohesive than before; there are many big blue cities, with transplants from across the nation.   They have the political machinery of Texas in their control overall.  Plus, even the 'Right' is too divisive; Ted Cruz, Dan Cranshaw, etc.  and other RINOs, and MIC/NeoCon/Christian Zionist flunkies.    It won't be just an intra state civil war within Texas, between the right and left, but also, between the real MAGA vs. fake MAGAS as well.   What I support is the real MAGA, but the real MAGA would be outnumbered, and maybe even outgunned by the fake MAGA, and the left over DNC transplants/flunkies.   I wouldn't take it for granted that the real MAGA would be victorious over them.  Too many ifs.

Yes, so long as the logistics and the transportation/distribution infrastructure don't get affected.  You're taking too many things for granted.   Are you really a libertarian, or just playing one for fashion statement?
