Haven't watched the video yet, but the quote is exactly right on track. I continue to be amazed that nobody is interested. At least not interested enough to have more than casual discussions, its truly baffling. I have been approaching old friends from back home for a few years now, and relatives. No Offense, I love the people in this group, but even here. No luck. I've had several people interested, but the interest has not gone far. trump coming back into power took the wind out of the sails of the potential movement. Again, crazy to me. His winning was exactly what I was afraid of and exactly what those who are destroying our societies had planned. Had kamala won, I think the people I was talking to before the election would be involved currently. People are so comfortable in the government matrix paradigm that they seem to be totally unwilling to give it up, for anything. It may be me as well, or it certainly is. I have not been able to convince people effectively to join us. I'm sure if some more  influencial people said the exact same things I've been saying, the group would exist by now.  
  
There are many different levels of self sufficiency and I agree 100% that it would be hard to jump straight to that level. Here the small towns are self sufficient in their own right so living here takes care of a significant portion of it already. But to be self sufficient in an area like this means real self sufficiency and little to no outside help needed.  
I also do want to be clear, I'm not far along at all. I have bought some perfect land, but its only enough to support a very small group, less than 10, and that is not the ideal by anty means. And at my current pace it is still a couple years away at best. I work full time and have a long way to go to in order to build up the resources needed. My boss has some interest in providing assistance, so in the next couple of years I may get a large bump forward, but that is not today, or yesterday, as I had hoped.  
  
I'm really hopeful there is enough time left. The way the dollar is crashing is probably the scariest thing. As people sit around waiting, their buying power is shrinking every day. This is why I have been shouting in hopes of finding someone with the motivation to convert some of that into life sustaining assets, while its still possible. The cost to do it here is truly fractional compared to any similar idea in the former USA and the government has no interest of standing in the way of such things here. It would just be normal behavior where I live. Agrarian life is the norm for the majority here.   
I'm also planning to open a American food restaurant here, and that may happen before much is done to forward my homestead plan. One of my main goals is to bring in a non dollar based income source, which extends my window of opportunity drastically, and the 2 can work hand in hand.   
  
I do really appreciate you sharing and bringing some focus to my plan. It really is the way of the future for people who hope to live free. Its sad that the overwhelming majority will miss out, and freedom has proven to be very low priority.
