That’s an impressive demonstration of boomerangclusion.

Your original claim was that people who incessantly bitch and complain choose highly accomplished people to bitch about. Then you proceeded to bitch about Gen X. I simply followed your premise to its conclusion.

Now, instead of defending it, you’ve changed the thesis and invented my entire biography: I’ve never repaired anything, never overcome adversity, live on chicken tendies bought by my mother, and my greatest accomplishment is smoking weed.

You don’t know any of that.

And accusing Gen X of being unable to acknowledge anyone else’s accomplishments while declaring that an entire generation has accomplished nothing is another boomerangclusion.

The weed shot is especially funny coming from the generation that gave us the hippies and helped make marijuana a permanent part of American culture. Apparently Boomers planted the seed, Gen X watered it, and now you’re furious that there’s a watermelon growing in the yard.

At least I grew the watermelon myself. I wouldn’t want to outsource success.

Great retort. I noticed you couldn't bring yourself to dispute anything I said.  
  
Here's the crazy thing: I CAN know all of that. I shouldn't be able to. It shouldn't be so locked in that I can randomly accuse any given person of representing any given stereotype.  But, I can. And the number of times I'll be wrong is vanishingly small.  
  
You. You personally. You have never done a fucking thing. All you have ever done is bitch about things that other people have done.  
  
Your shot about boomers is in some ways deliciously ironic. It demonstrates the abject almost comic ignorance of the generations that followed.  
  
Kids I grew up with were already zoned out on weed and booze. But, the rest of us didn't hail them as the standards we'd aspire to.  
  
You're different. You're an alien lifeform that's taken root in American soil.  
  
You're a waste of space, food, time, air. If you vanished along with everyone like you the world would only improve. A lot.  
  
And, just to tweak your weed fogged sensibilities; your kind has been here since at least the 1850's or so.  
  
Gen-X just happens to be the group that has most aggressively taken up the characteristics of being useless as a life strategy while pretending that everyone who actually accomplished anything is the problem.  
  
And you are the worthless fuckwad that deletes everything he says afterward so no one can hold you to account for the bullshit you espouse.
