The priest ISOLATES the person with a skin rash. No treatment. No diagnosis. Just isolation. This is what you call "medicine" or medical advice. Which is quite amazing. Go ISOLATE YOURSELF and your cancer will heal itself. Amazing medical advice. Is this what you call "smart" from your god?

You are comparing a contagious skin infection to cancer. Cancer isn't contagious, you can't catch it by shaking hands. In the ancient desert, there was no treatment for infectious outbreaks. There were no antibiotics. The only successful "diagnosis" that mattered for the community was if it contagious or not. The goal of the law wasn't a personal treatment for the individual, it was preventing a localized outbreak from affecting the entire tribe. Isolation was the medicine for the society. Isolating an individual with an unknown, but possibly contagious rash is the common sense practice today. You are holding a 3,000-year-old survival manual to the standard of modern medical treatment? Give your head a shake:)
