13 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 2 “When anyone has a swelling or a rash or a shiny spot on their skin that may be a defiling skin disease,\[a\] they must be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons\[b\] who is a priest. 3 The priest is to examine the sore on the skin, and if the hair in the sore has turned white and the sore appears to be more than skin deep, it is a defiling skin disease. When the priest examines that person, he shall pronounce them ceremonially unclean. Ahh, so your god is speaking to certain people and not everyone on the planet, why? Does everyone have Aaron around? Or a priest? Leviticus is telling a story, your god didn't get this message to all humans. This is a story from one place in the world. This doesn't talk about what caused the rash or skin issue. It talks about killing animals to appease your god. So then god will heal the people. It says to isolate the person, not to treat them with anything.

Why does this feel like Groundhog Day. This is the third time you’ve demanded to know why a 3,000 year-old law written for desert nomads didn’t include biopsies, lab cultures, or antibiotics. One last time, Leviticus was given to a specific people in a specific place. That’s how history works, you have to understand the context. There was no cure. Isolation was the only way to stop a plague from wiping out the camp. Those same practical principles later helped build the high-trust societies that now let you sit safely at home and spam the same complaint. Hold yourself to a higher standard. You’re angry at an ancient text for being an ancient text. Your dogs are wondering why you’re still obsessed with Aaron and an ancient rash.

Yes, your "holy bible" was written for a specific people at a specific time in human history. That entire part of the bible is useless to read today. Why is it there? Your god could have told the people how to be clean. But instead it told people how to sacrifice animals.

Yes, if your god is so smart, why not let the one peoples it cares about know about medicine? Go stand outside the city, come back in 7 days. Is that proper medical treatment? Yes, a specific people in a specific place. Not all peoples and this information doesn't stand the test of time. If your god was smart, wouldn't it want to inform humans of good information? Useful information? Or is standing outside of the camp, a useful way to treat people for illnesses? "Rash" has now become a plague. Why doesn't your god help the people diagnosis what is going on?
