*I'm saying there's almost no situation in our various experiences which should lead us to believe that sharing our thoughts with other people would produce any outcome even similar to that.* Not sure of the obviously very nuanced point your are trying to share here? There are many situations in our various experiences which should lead us to believe that sharing our thoughts with other people will produce an outcome similar to that. Golf Instruction for one....yes? Just one of many examples...along that line of communication. Not trying to be contentious here.....we can use language to communicate...some of us better than others. You seem to be making communication to be based on predictive framing....but not too sure why you are suggesting as much. Interesting topic....as certainly...the English Language is not a good language for telling 'truths'. But communication and truth are are not causal....or even correlational. And here we are. Peace.😇

I'm mostly a handyman these days. I can give people exact one-to-one instruction to solve their problems over the phone. Most of the time it doesn't work. Lady needed to restart her gas water heater's burner. Told her exactly how to do it. She had me come out because it wasn't working. I showed here and she said: "That's the ignitor?" The button is labeled. Just something in her head wouldn't let her push the right button. I don't think I'm being very subtle or nuanced here. Someone else's mind isn't your mind. You don't know what their precepts are. You can't predict what your words are going to mean to them.
