Human bias and hubris come into play when talking to a human. You need to speak to who you are talking to. Some people are dumb and can't understand concepts, or you haven't defined them well enough. This is mostly why I'm a "troll" today or attempt at being a troll. Most people are already in their echo chambers and don't want to come out. Its easier to make fun of someone to hopefully make them see their cage, sometimes it works most of the time it doesn't. But good luck changing the mind of a zealot...

Maybe a zealot is often enough someone who already suspects they're wrong. They get louder and more shrill because calm reason doesn't work to keep them convinced they're right.
