It wasn't an unwelcome observation. Not as true as I'd wish. But quite true enough. People today are poisoned if I might make the unwelcome observation. Poisoned in mind, body, spirit. Poisoned by committee. Poisoned by food, poisoned by medicine, clothing, furniture, poisoned by their lights and other tech. It repulses me. I have a sense of revulsion so great I won't use poison against rats and mice, flies and garden bugs. These... creatures are poisoned. Dying on their feet as they happily consume the poisons that insure they'll never have children and if they do those children will be more poisoned than themselves.
